How to Use

Apply a small amount to wet scalp and hair. Massage into the scalp with your fingertips to create a rich lather, then work it through the mid-lengths and ends. Rinse thoroughly. For best results, follow with the Root Nourishing Conditioner.

Key Ingredients

Scalposine: Helps detoxify the scalp by keeping excess sebum under control (which can suffocate the scalp) while reducing visible flakes. Also helps protect against common urban stressors like pollution and product build-up, and supports a healthy scalp microbiome.

Prebiotics: Feed the good bacteria already present on the scalp, helping to maintain microbiome balance. A disrupted microbiome can lead to irritation, redness and dandruff, which in turn can contribute to hair thinning or hair loss.

Pink Berry: An upcycled ingredient grown by a Sri Lankan farming cooperative. It helps calm itchy or irritated scalps, whether triggered by chemicals (hair dye or relaxers), biological factors (dandruff) or head coverings (including helmets, hijabs). It works by reducing the production of free radicals to minimise oxidative stress.

Caffeine: Strengthens and stimulates hair follicles to help promote growth, in part by increasing blood flow to the scalp and improving delivery of nutrients and oxygen. There is also a theory that caffeine can act as a DHT blocker, a hormone linked to hair loss.

Recommended Regime
